This starts with providing better options to America’s 45 million adult nicotine consumers—
30 million of whom smoke cigarettes.
PMI has never sold combustible cigarettes in the U.S. and is actively delivering a smoke-free future globally. Our goal is to empower legal-age nicotine consumers who don’t quit smoking to change for the better. This is how we will accelerate an end to smoking, the most harmful way to consume nicotine. In the U.S., this effort is led by several PMI affiliates, including Swedish Match North America, the maker of ZYN.

To meet the growing demand for smoke-free alternatives to cigarettes, PMI U.S. is investing in additional U.S. manufacturing facilities.
