What Can You Expect from a First Job at PMI U.S.?

 

Here’s one example: Our Swedish Match affiliate is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager (Southeast) to service Savannah, GA, Beaufort, SC, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will manage all sales and operational functions within the assigned geography. 

Whom we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related work experience
  • Directly related work experience in nondurable consumer goods sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions
  • Critical thinking and demonstrated ability to think and act appropriately in selling situations
  • Analytical skills; ability to analyze data and develop a sales plan
  • Planning skills, including a demonstrated ability to prioritize activities to achieve results
  • Microsoft Office and business math skills
  • Willingness to travel (depending on geography, potentially up to 10 percent overnight travel required)
  • The candidate must live within the geographical assignment and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key retail, wholesale, and account decision-makers
  • Sell and service Swedish Match’s products in retail stores in the assigned geography
  • Gain new item distribution, execute promotions, and merchandise products
  • Ensure product freshness in all assigned stores
  • Utilize our data to develop fact-based presentations for our customers and follow our call process
  • Handle all administrative aspects, including expenses and point of sale materials
